Marcela Aroca, a senior partner at Legal Focus in Windsor, Ontario was retained by myself and a group of 30 taxpayers, spread across Ontario, to challenge the CRA over a particular tax ruling we very much wanted to dispute. I had researched and spoken to a number of law firms across Ontario to find a firm that fit our needs. In the end we chose Legal Focus and Marcela to be our representative. Several things set Marcela apart from other lawyers interviewed. First was Marcela's extensive knowledge of the Canadian tax system. It is her specialty and her focus. Second, Marcela is a highly respected tax lawyer in the community both because of her knowledge and professionalism. Went to Legal Focus LLP to complete a Will and POA. While I have put this off for way to long Marcela Aroca made it painless. I completed the paperwork that was forwarded to me by her office. When we met, she took the time to educate me and ensure that she had gathered all relevant information. She brought up things I hadn’t thought of.
