Marcela S. Aroca is a litigator practicing exclusively in tax litigation and civil litigation. A leader in her field, Marcela has been repeatedly recognized for her teaching at the University of Windsor, Faculty of Law, where she has instructed courses on income tax law, advanced tax law, contracts, and civil litigation.
Stephen Yoker

Stephen E. Yoker was admitted to the Law Society of Upper Canada in 1997. He obtained his law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1995. Yoker’s practice includes complex civil litigation with a focus on personal injury claims. He appears regularly in the Superior Court of Justice and has argued several matters at the Court of Appeal. Stephen’s practice is devoted to all types of personal injury litigation on behalf of plaintiffs, including motor vehicle accident cases, long-term disability benefit disputes, occupier’s liability actions, and accident benefits claims.
Stephen’s practice is devoted to finding innovative and practical solutions to the needs of personal injury clients. When necessary Stephen will apply his 20 years of experience in the courtroom to litigate those cases where a trial is required to achieve the best result for the client.

Eric Florjancic

Eric Florjancic is a litigation lawyer who has experience with a wide range of diverse and unique matters. He obtained his law degree from the University of Windsor and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2017.
Eric has assisted clients from neighbour disputes to large contractual and complex business transactions. He understands and recognizes that civil disputes are distinctive, and each have their own unique set of challenges. He provides an upfront analysis and realistic expectation on what is necessary to advance his clients’ best interests.
Eric has appeared before various levels of Court including the Small Claims Court, Superior Court of Justice, Divisional Court, Court of Appeal for Ontario and has acted for clients before tribunals, arbitrations, and mediations. Eric has experience in proceeding in all stages of the litigations, from the issuing of the claim to appeals.
Eric provides assistance and guidance to clients in estate planning, which includes preparing the client’s last will and testament, and power of attorney documents. As part of his estate practice, Eric assists with the probate application, and has advocated for clients regarding estate litigation issues, which include challenging a will, passing of accounts and other uncontested and contested estate matters.
When Eric is not advocating for his clients, he spends time with his family, enjoying nature, experiencing local shops, and indulging in the culturally diverse community in the Windsor-Essex County.
Lisa Grant

Lisa Grant has a wealth of experience in real estate, corporate, commercial, and estate planning law. She has successfully navigated clients through many challenging purchases, refinances, and sales for both residential and commercial properties. Lisa has also assisted clients to navigate complex Tarion Warranty Corporation claims. With respect to helping clients with accomplishing their business goals, Lisa has experience preparing incorporations, shareholder agreements, restructuring corporations, buying and selling businesses and/or shares, and dissolving corporations. Lisa has also assisted many clients with their estate planning with Wills and Powers of Attorney based on their specific needs.
Lisa has a passion for working with her clients to ensure that their legal needs are met. She strives to understand the expectations and objectives of each client. Through effective communication she completes each file with a personalized approach according to the needs of her clients.
Lisa Grant was called to the bar in 2020 after completing a Juris Doctorate at the University of Windsor. Prior to her call to the bar, she worked in law firms for 13 years while also completing her under-graduate degree, an Honors Bachelor of Arts at the University of Windsor.
Outside of the office, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family and friends as well as volunteering.
Krystal Taylor

Krystal graduated from the University of Windsor’s Faculty of Law and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2023. She is a Windsor native and was eager to return home after articling at a large firm in Ottawa. Krystal is excited to provide legal services and support her clients to advance their best interests.
Krystal has a wide array of experiences in both litigation and business law including: corporate and commercial law, estate law, tax law, municipal law, and corporate litigation.
When Krystal is not assisting her clients, she enjoys running, swimming and traveling.
Jacob Burling

Jacob graduated cum laude from the University of Ottawa’s Common Law program in 2022 and was called to the Ontario bar in 2023. He spent a summer term and his articles with the Ontario Crown Attorney’s office where he gained extensive training in litigation in the realm of criminal law and regulatory law. He later continued his experience as a per diem Assistant Crown Attorney where he appeared regularly before the Ontario Court of Justice.
